You know that squared jaw GQ look like many of your favourite actors have, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom and all the other Hollywood sex icons. A sharp angular face like a model looks really masculine in comparison to our female counterparts who have softer features.

I can’t really think of anything worse than a double chin, seriously it makes you look like a turkey. Do reps count double when doing chin ups if you have a double chin?     yeh, good post, true aswell, I had a fat face during 1st year uni then after a couple of years of working out and keeping the fat off, my face looks a lot slimmer and better now. Keep it up.

  • Great post Michael. It’s important for people to stay reasonably lean and not be “overly-muscular”; I really think it ruins their look. Just look at Jay Cutler’s chin during precontest and off season.

    It’s amazing how having a lean face can change you appearance and make you better looking. You can look like a totally different person in the face just by reducing your body fat.

    It’s the same as wanting to lose belly fat. YOU CAN’T ISOLATE FAT BURNING! It’s impossible. I’m sick of those BS ads that suggest this (I was actually expecting this article to do the same until I read it – good for you) You burn fat by putting yourself into calorie deficit, whether you workout or not. That’s all it takes. Simple science.

      Lol, ye im against all that bullshit, hence the name somebody lied: not me. Tbh i am still undecided about calorie deficits, they are true to a certain extent but if it were just simple maths as you think, no one would ever suffer a plateau and you could lose fat forever. When you get to a really lean state, you can create a calorie deficit of 7000 and you won’t lose that expected 2lbs of fat. Things like quality of calories, sleep quality, how much fat you have all play a role in fat burning

    You had me cracking up at “if you seriously think you can spot reduce then I may as well profit off you”. It’s sad how many people think they can spot reduce. I see these women killing themselves with nothing but AB exercises yet they refuse to weight train for the fear of making themselves look big.
