Aren’t Victoria Secret Models just in such great shape?
They are not too skinny like typical runway models you see, and no wonder you want to know how to get a body like them.
Justin Gelband who is the trainer for most Victoria Secret Model has helped many models get in super fit shape without extreme methods.
They say Victoria’s Secret designs the lingerie. Justin Gelband designs the bodies that wear it
The Victoria Secret Model Workout Routine and Diet
His training methods which make up the Victoria Secret Model Workout are highly effective and were incorporated into a few fitness books to help average women get the lean, slender model look without being too big or too skinny.
If you read my Adriana Lima Diet post, you will know that having clear goals, and knowing what you want and striving to get what you want is what is going to make or break you. If you don’t have the motivation, you are simply going to fail as you skip workouts, cheat on your diet etc etc.
In an interview with Justin Gelband about the victoria secret model workout he admitted they all had their days of breaking down. They weren’t all born skinny as you may believe, and certainly weren’t born with perfect bodies, and have insecurities just like other women. The key to their success is they picked themselves up quickly and got back on with it.
Victoria Secret Model Workout Routine
So what is “Justin Gelband’s secret” for the victoria secret model workout? He doesn’t have one. Justin appreciates that every female is different, so he builds a foundation for each model. He finds out who they are, what they do now and creates a brand new program for them using fundamental workout programs. So each girl has their own specific type of workout. The movements he takes the girls through and exercises are similar in structure but they are geared for each specific model and her needs. This is known as shaping.
The key to Victoria Secret Workout is intensity. There is no going soft in a Justin Gelband exercise plan. Each workout has a specific goal, and him and his clients ensure they achieve it. For the legs, Justin doesn’t make his girls do any form of resistance training as he doesn’t want any bulk to be produced. The effect he wants his long smooth and toned legs.

With all these limitations, what does a Victoria Secret model workout routine include? Mainly exercises that feature resistance bands, a Bosu ball, and the occasional boxing workout or Pilates routine. The goal of these is to “promote balance and stability” while working a variety of muscles that improve posture and core strength. Generally, the workouts range from 45-75 minutes and are done 3-4 days per week. The actual exercises are varied often to avoid boredom and focus on toning the hips, inner thighs, and stomach.
He also focuses on core strength as he says “Core strength doesn’t just firm up your midsection, it dictates how you carry yourself. You can have a killer body that’s hidden behind a slouching posture” He also focuses on toning the stomach, thighs and hips as he says focusing on these 3 areas is a shortcut to an overall appearance of rock-solid fitness.
So what does the Victoria Secret Model Workout focus on?
The exercises mainly focus on using resistance bands, a bosu ball, a boxing tabata workout and some pilates. Remember the goal was to improve core strength and posture. They workout up to 3-4 times a week with workout times ranging from 45-60 minutes.
There is a lot to take away from what Justin Gelband has given away about the Victoria Secret Model workout, but it probably isn’t enough to make your own plan. Remember Justin personalises the workouts toward the specific girl, so if you want the true Victoria Secret Model Workout, you would have to hire Justin.
Lucky for you I happen to know a female product which promote the same exact look and has a proven track record of doing so. Followers of my blog will know I use Visual Impact Muscle Building, and Rusty Moore the author made a female version which you can also use to look like a model called Visual Impact For Women.
Victoria Secret Model Diet
The Victoria secret model diet is pretty flexible. Each girl isn’t restricted to what she eats, but she does undergo some portion control. A great diet plan I and many other use is called Eat Stop Eat, I wouldn’t really call it a diet, but more a diet hack, but it allows you to eat more of your favourite foods and still lose weight.
Things change however a month before a show or photo shoot. Justin Gelband cuts outs salt, sugar and other high carb meals. A balance of protein, fat and carbs is expected from each and every girl. An example is Adriana Lima who for breakfast has a morning coffee, 3 eggs and some oatmeal. For lunch she eats a lean meat with some steamed vegetables and for dinner she has a salad as she likes to keep it light before bed.
10 days before a show, things begin to get really tense and Justin ensures they are making the most out of every single meal. Adriana Lima is known to go on a liquid diet in this period, to essentially dry out (lose water for the day) so her body looks even more toned.
As you saw their is nothing miraculous about the Victoria Secret Model Workout, it is like any other good exercise plan for women which requires motivation to stick to it, putting full effort into your workouts and discipline when it comes to eating. If you can do all these things you wouldn’t even need to use the Official Victoria Secret Model workout to get a body like your favourite Victoria Secret model.

Rusty’s unique training philosophy is what makes him the best in the business. Visual Impact is so cheap, it’s a steal.

You would think they would be on this diet the entire time.
Also, how do I go about getting a casting job for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show? The guy who said it isn’t a dream job–I disagree.
